Complete, live results from WWE Hell.A Cell 2022.
This Sunday evening is WWE Hell In A Cell 2022, the final meeting between Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes who will face off in the big cage, despite the injury of the latter.
The RAW Championship title will also be on the line between titleholder Bianca Belair, Asuka and Becky Lynch, while Theory will defend the United States title against Mustafa Ali. Edge’s Judgment Day will also face the trio of Finn Bálor, AJ Styles and Liv Morgan.
Bianca Belair wins at the heel
No match during the Kickoff, we start directly in the hard with the confrontation between Bianca Belair, Asuka and Becky Lynch for the title of champion of RAW.
Bianca Belair defeated Becky Lynch and Asuka by pinfall after stealing Lynch’s pin from Asuka, who had just suffered Lynch’s Manhanded Slma.
Great game, great performance from Asuka, Lynch’s tenacity translated well into the action and Bianca Belair was on top. A shame not to offer a very clean victory to the champion who still has to use heel tactics to win.
Lashley has ambitions
We continue with the game disability between Bobby Lashley and the duo of Omos and MVP. Chicago loves Bobby Lashley if you listen to the crowd.
Bobby Lashley beat MVP and Omos by submission with his Hurt Lock on MVP.
All credit goes to Lashley in this game. Already because he carries the rivalry on his shoulders and offers credibility to Omos, and also because sending MVP into the game when you are Omos and you have control is not terrible. Cedric Alexander also prevented a chokeslam.
After the match, Bobby Lashley makes the sign of the belt, he wants a title. He even spotted a replica belt in the audience to pose with and kiss her.
It’s Kevin Owens and Ezekiel’s turn to face off in the next match.
Kevin Owens defeated Ezekiel by falling with his Stunner.
The match is nice but classic. The only plus is the acting of Kevin Owens who spends his time telling the first name Elias to Ezekiel and the public.
Clean victory for the band at Edge
Judgment Day (Edge, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley) takes on the trio of AJ Styles, Finn Bálor and Liv Morgan in the next match. Rhea Ripley unveils a half joker half Jeff Hardy look without pants.
Judgment Day beat AJ Styles, Finn Bálor and Liv Morgan by pinfall with a spear from Edge on Bálor who escaped the Coup de Grâce, Rhea Ripley stopped him.
Nice match, even if the rule of male and female wrestlers who cannot fight together takes away a lot of the potential of the confrontation. No heelturn, no outside intervention from a possible new member, the victory is clean for Judgment Day.
Madcap Moss vs. Happy Corbin, finally over?
The new Madcap Moss faces Baron Corbin in a No Holds Barred match to end it once and for all.
Madcap Moss defeated Happy Corbin by fall after having reproduced the blow of the chair around the neck with not the trophy this time, but the steps of the ring. Efficient.
The Madcap Moss that we are presented here has potential, it is doing well. Does this mean that WWE has interesting plans for him for the future? We have doubts. In any case, we hope that this rivalry is over this time.
Chicago dude lose in Chicago
Second and final championship match of this evening of WWE Hell In A Cell 2022: Theory defends the United States title against Mustafa Ali who is at home in Chicago tonight. If you’re used to it, you know it’s a spoiler.
Theory defeated Mustafa Ali by pinfall with his ATL to retain the United States Championship title.
Excellent match, perhaps the best of the evening. The two wrestlers gave everything for a performance that lived up to expectations, the finish was clean, the public reacted well. What more ?

Cody Rhodes is crazy (you knew it but this is worse)
We end this evening with the only Hell In Cell match of this evening: Cody Rhodes against Seth Rollins. The doubt remains, what will happen now that we know that Cody Rhodes is injured?
Cody Rhodes defeated Seth Rollins by pinfall with a Cross Rhodes and a Sledgehammer shot.
It was both reckless and crazy at the same time. Cody Rhodes suffers from a tear in the pectoralis major and he agrees to go and lock himself in the Hell In A Cell cage with Seth Rollins. Others probably would have said, “go home, go get treatment,” but that’s Cody Rhodes.
As for the match, as we couldn’t help but fear for Rhodes, it was difficult to watch. Seth Rollins dominates for long minutes, so we think that’s all we’ll have until he wins. Then Rhodes comes back to the charge (his wound reddens more and more, it’s not a good sign) goes to look for a rope with a cowbell and boom: Bullrope Match.
It’s finally when the two wrestlers will play “Who’s the best Triple H?” (Rhodes wins this one, pectoral tear and sledgehammer, the imitation is perfect), that we will have entered the final stretch of the match.
WWE Hell In A Cell 2022 is neither amazing nor bad. The matches are mostly quite good, the women’s opener had its effect and the main-event brought an absolutely unwritten dose of suspense. But Hell In A Cell remains a transition show towards a summer that took an unexpected turn.
