Friday June 3, 2022, Laurent Ruquier revealed on social networks to end his collaboration with Léa Salamé. From the start of the school year, the journalist already at the head of the morning show of France Inter will be alone at the controls of the program We are live, on France 2.

Friday, June 3, 2022, the companion of Hugo Manos, however, revealed that he was ending their collaboration. In a statement shared on social media, he said: “Since the information has been published, I confirm that tomorrow night will be my last Saturday night show after 17 seasons together from We’re not in bed to We’re live.“Ensuring not to be cold with his former protegee, Laurent Ruquier shared:”It’s my decision to leave this time slot, not being comfortable co-hosting for a talk show. I tried, but despite my natural understanding with Léa Salamé, I find the exercise too frustrating.

Wishing the journalist the best, Laurent Ruquier wrote: “I wish good luck to Léa Salamé as well as to her producer and I am working with France 2 on new projects for the start of the school year. I also hope to see you again with joy, next season every Sunday evening for Les enfants de la télé.After thanking viewers for being so loyal to him all these years, the host added, “Thank you again to the viewers for being so faithful to me for all these years. Thank you to the known or less known artists, writers, singers, comedians and comedians for trusting me to offer more visibility to their cultural activities.
