Indeed, the actor currently at the heart of a legal battle against his ex-actress Amber Heard escaped from the courts to join an artist friend on stage: Jeff Buck. On Sunday May 29, the former interpreter ofEdward Scissorhands or even Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean so came lend a hand to his sidekick to everyone’s surprise, while performing on stage at Sheffield City Hall in England.
Johnny Depp and Jeff Buck have played and interpreted a few titles together by performing covers. Thereby, the friends, each with a guitar, sang Insulation by John Lennon, What’s going on by Marvin Gaye or even Little Wing by Jimmy Hendrix. In the moment, images of their performance leaked onto the web and went around the world. Visibly delighted to welcome Johnny Depp on his stage, the official Twitter account of the theater did not fail to point out the unexpected appearance of this one: “Well… What a surprise last night to find Johnny Depp on stage with Jeff Beck! Those last weeks, Johnny Depp intervenes in court in the United States in the context of his lawsuit against Amber Heard. He sued her for defamation and claimed 50 million dollars. The main interested party counter-attacked it asking her for 100 million dollars. Jury deliberations will resume on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
